I'm Not a Personal Trainer But.

What is presented in this book is a perspective on self care that does not come from a source that is licensed in any way to provide any real form of therapy.  I think it is important to call out what is a professional opinion versus gym bro talk and I have to profess that the statements made in this book are coming from a person who had triggering thoughts about going to see a therapist after spending childhood being taken to them and having to defend myself.

Where do you pull the sword from?

* You are not your experiences but you are a product of them.  Think about what the obvious impacts are to a person when thinking about a situation and realize that that is exactly how you are being impacted.  We want to act impervious because we don’t want to look weak, but our weaknesses show the moment we start fronting.
